Because I know how it feels to be constantly running — running toward your goals, your responsibilities, the next version of yourself — and yet still feeling ungrounded trying to hold it all together while craving ease.
This New Moon invites you to pause & breathe, because before you can change your lifestyle, you must first feel good about where you are now.
Today, we’ll explore the energy of the Root Chakra, the foundation of your entire system — and how to reconnect to your sense of safety, belonging, and trust in life again.
There was a time when I didn’t even realize how disconnected I’d become.
I was living in constant survival mode — always chasing, always proving, always feeling like I was one step behind.
I thought grounding was something I’d do “later” — after I’d achieved more, earned more, or fixed everything first. But that constant striving left me overwhelmed, overthinking and unfulfilled.
It wasn’t until I started working with Root Chakra healing — grounding slow walks, mindful breathwork, and journaling — that I found what I’d been chasing all along: A feeling of comfort within myself.
And that’s what I want for you, too.
Because when your Root Chakra is balanced, everything else flows from that safety — your energy, your motivation and your confidence.
Let’s shift your perspective for a moment. Balance doesn’t begin by doing more.
It begins by feeling safe to slow down — to trust that you are exactly where you’re meant to be.
The Root Chakra is located at the base of your spine. It governs your sense of safety, security, and connection to the physical world. When it’s out of balance, you might feel anxious, scattered, or overwhelmed. When it’s aligned, you can feel strong, calm, and confident — no matter what’s happening around you.
The New Moon Energy – Fresh Starts & Embodying the New You
The New Moon is your monthly reset — the moment when the sky is dark, quiet, and full of infinite potential. It’s a time to begin again, to define your vision, and to plant the seeds for your desires.
Just like the moon, you are allowed to start fresh — to release old versions of yourself and step into the new version you are becoming.
Ask yourself:
What do I truly desire?
What does the next, more grounded version of me look and feel like?
This is your time to renew your energy, clarify your intentions and embody your future self — not by forcing, but by aligning.
Because when you’re grounded in your truth, your desires stop feeling out of reach. They start to flow toward you with ease.
🧘♀️ Mini Meditation: Ground Into Safety & Renewal
Lets take some time now to do a quick grounding meditation
Close your eyes if its safe to do so and take a deep, nourishing breath in through your nose… and out through your mouth.
Imagine a soft red light glowing at the base of your spine — warm, steady, and alive.
With each breath, that red light expands, sending roots deep into the earth beneath you.
Now, feel the calm darkness of the New Moon above — quiet, infinite, ready for a new start
From this space of stillness, whisper your intention:
“I am ready for a new beginning.”
See yourself stepping into this next version of you — strong, confident, grounded, and glowing with possibility.
You are safe.
You are supported.
You are enough
Take one more deep breath… and gently open your eyes.
Today, bring grounding into your physical life: Walk barefoot on the earth, cook a nourishing meal, or tidy a corner of your home — something simple that helps your body feel grounded
Balance starts in your body and present moment, not in your mind.
Affirm with me:
“I am safe in my body and in my life.”
“I am grounded, centred, and present.”
“Everything I need is already within me.”
“This New Moon marks my new beginning.”
"I am grateful for the Earth beneath me — for the unseen ways it supports me every day."
Ask yourself: Where in my life do I crave more stability — and what small action could help me feel safer, calmer, or more supported right now?
What new intention are you ready to plant and nurture this month?
Try This Mindfulness Ritual: Tonight, light a candle and sit quietly for five minutes. Visualise roots extending from your feet deep into the Earth.
With each inhale, breathe in stability. With each exhale, release worry or fear.
Then write down one intention for this new moon — something that makes you feel grounded and inspired.
Keep this note somewhere sacred — it’s your energetic seed for the month ahead.
You maybe asking: What if I can’t slow down? What if my mind won’t stop racing?
That’s okay.
Grounding or meditation isn’t about having a quiet mind — it’s about returning to your body. You don’t have to force calm; you just have to invite it in.
