Updated: Apr 23

Text on a pink glittery background reads "How To Elevate Your Social Energy" with a blog link. The mood is uplifting and inviting.

Hello beautiful souls! Welcome to the next phase of your Social Life Glow-Up! These three actions are all about deepening your connections, nurturing new relationships, and clearing space; both energetically and physically - for the next level of you.

Today you'll step into boldness by reaching out to someone who inspires you. You'll build trust and confidence by being the one who follows up and you'll clear the clutter that’s blocking your social inner glow.

These aligned actions are like a mini energetic reset; designed to open your heart, align your environment and expand your network in ways that feel soulful, not stressful.

Reach Out to Someone Who Inspires You

This is your nudge to DM, email, or message someone who lights you up. Maybe it’s a creator, a thought leader, a podcast host, or even someone local. When you put yourself out there, magic happens. You’re not only building confidence - you’re stepping into the energy of “I belong.”

Improving your social life isn’t just about being more social; it’s about becoming more intentional with your connections. This is your opportunity to stretch beyond your current circle and make space for new, inspiring relationships that match the person you're becoming.

When you reach out to someone who inspires you, you're doing 3 powerful things:

1. You’re Stepping Into Confidence

It takes courage to message someone you admire. Whether they respond or not isn’t the point - you’re showing up. You’re training your nervous system to feel safe being seen, heard, and acknowledged. That’s a big deal.

2. You’re Opening Doors to Expansion

People who inspire you often reflect a future version of you. When you reach out, you’re energetically saying, “I’m ready to align with this level.” It could spark a new friendship, mentorship, collaboration; or simply serve as proof that you’re not playing small anymore.

3. You’re Shifting from Passive to Proactive

A thriving social life doesn’t just happen - you create it. Reaching out moves you from waiting to participating. You become the person who initiates connection, and that changes everything.

Today is about breaking out of your shell. By putting yourself out there; even in a small DM—you’re declaring: “I’m ready for bigger, better, more aligned relationships.”

Try These Action Steps:

1. Choose one person who inspires you and write down what you admire about them.

2. Craft a short, genuine message—no pressure, just connection.

3. Hit send and smile. You just expanded your social circle energetically.

Affirmations & Gratitude - Say Them Aloud:

- I am worthy of inspiring connections.

- Reaching out is easy and aligned with my growth.

- Every message I send opens a new portal of possibility.

- I’m grateful for the courage to connect.

- I’m grateful for the people who inspire me.

- I’m grateful for this moment of expansion.

Be the One to Follow Up

Following up after a conversation, coffee chat, or even a spontaneous Instagram exchange builds trust and shows emotional intelligence. When we think of building a better social life, we often focus on making new connections; but the real magic happens in the nurturing of those connections. Following up is what turns a casual encounter into a meaningful relationship. It’s the bridge between “I met someone” and “we’re actually becoming friends.”

Following up shows you care; people remember how you make them feel. A thoughtful follow-up message shows you're present, engaged, and genuine.

Following up with someone also builds trust and reliability. Consistent follow-ups help you to become someone others can count on. You're not just a one-time encounter - you’re that creates safety and trust, which are essential for deeper connection.

This is what makes you socially confident. It’s not about being pushy or performative. It’s about being intentional. When you do that consistently, you nurture a circle of real, soul-aligned connections.

Because most people don’t follow up. So when you do it makes you stand out in the most genuine way.

Try These Action Steps:

1. Choose one person you’ve connected with recently.

2. Send a warm follow-up message - thank them, mention something you enjoyed, or suggest staying in touch.

3. Share something you think they'll like - a podcast episode, a book recommendation, or upcoming event you think they’d love. This shows you're not just following up - you’re bringing value, which deepens trust and builds rapport.

Affirmations & Gratitude - Say Them Aloud:

- I nurture connections with intention and joy.

- Following up feels natural and kind.

- I am socially confident and memorable.

- I’m grateful for the people I’ve connected with.

- I’m grateful for opportunities to deepen relationships.

- I’m grateful for the ease of staying in touch.

- How do I want to be remembered by the people I meet?

- What can I offer in my connections that feels authentic?

Declutter & Detox

To truly glow in your social life, it’s time to clear out what’s weighing you down - physically, emotionally and mentally. When you release the old and things that no longer serve you, you make room for aligned connections and fresh energy.

You don’t need to be someone else. You just need to let go of what you no longer need. Because your outer world reflects your inner world. When your space, mind, and energy are cluttered, it shows up in your outer world and social interactions. You might feel overwhelmed, distracted, drained - or not fully present. That can create invisible walls that keep genuine connections out.

By clearing physical, emotional, and mental clutter, you create space for more aligned people, better conversations, and deeper confidence. Clarity creates confidence - Social confidence doesn't just come from what you say; it comes from how you feel about yourself. When you're holding onto outdated beliefs, old friendships that no longer serve you, or clutter in your environment, your energy feels heavy.

Detoxing these layers helps you feel lighter, more magnetic, and more you. You need to make room for what (and who) you really want. Think of it like this: If your wardrobe is stuffed with clothes you no longer wear, there’s no room for new outfits that reflect who you are now. The same goes for friendships, habits, and thought patterns.

If you're calling in more soul-aligned, inspiring people... you need to let go of everything that's no longer aligned. And that includes energy vampires, people-pleasing habits, and any mental clutter that tells you that you're not enough.

Decluttering is not just tidying - it's a social glow-up from the inside out. You show up clearer, calmer, and more radiant. People feel that. And that’s when real connection happens. 💛

Try These Action Steps:

1. Choose one area to declutter: inbox, wardrobe, friendships, calendar.

2. Journal about what you’re emotionally holding onto that no longer serves you.

3. Do a 10-minute detox activity: dry brushing, lemon water, mindful eating or breathwork.

Affirmations & Gratitude - Say Them Aloud:

- I release the old to welcome the new.

- My space and energy are sacred.

- I deserve clarity, freedom, and flow.

- I’m grateful for the space I’m creating.

- I’m grateful for my ability to let go with love.

- I’m grateful for this fresh energy in my life.

Take Out Your Journal & Answer These Questions:

- What am I ready to release?

- How do I feel after creating space?

- What kind of people and experiences am I now making room for?

An Evening Self-Care Ritual:

Take a bath or hot shower with Epsom salts and essential oils. As the water flows, imagine it washing away old energy, stories, and clutter. Step out fresh and radiant.

These three aligned actions are POWERFUL. You’re becoming someone who reaches out with confidence, follows up with grace, and lives lightly - without old baggage weighing you down.

You are never asking for too much. You were made for soul-deep, expansive connection... the kind that lights you up, not wears you down. You are worthy of being seen, heard, and celebrated!

When you reach out, follow up and clear out the things that no longer align; you’re not just glowing up your social life... You’re claiming a higher standard for who gets access to your energy. This is how the next-level version of you is born.

So keep showing up. Keep saying yes to everything that feels aligned. and keep making room for miracles.

Keep going - you are glowing up more than you know. 💗
