How To Release Stress & Overwhelm During The Waning Gibbous Moon + Throat Chakra Meditation

Today is about two powerful transformational energies: the Waning Gibbous Moon and the Throat Chakra.


This phase is the exhale after the full moon. It’s the moment where instead of pushing forward or striving for more, you finally get to receive. This week is about gratitude, receiving, reflecting, allowing new opportunities, and asking yourself what growth comes with your new ideal life? and how can you grow into that new person?



This is for you if your emotions have been busy, or you’ve been carrying so much that you haven’t stopped long enough to appreciate your own growth. It’s for the person who’s ready to release the stress, step out of overwhelm, and open to the opportunities that are trying to find you. It’s for the person who knows they are changing — but isn’t quite sure how to grow into the next-level version of themselves.


Sometimes we get so busy that we stop noticing how much we’ve already risen from. That can create stress and overwhelm because you’re ignoring the impact of what you’ve already achieved and overcome.


This Waning Gibbous moon phase has a simple message: slow down, let yourself receive the growth, the lessons, the opportunities, and the new version of you trying to shape itself within you.


When you do this while working alongside your Throat Chakra energy, something powerful happens. Your voice strengthens. Your truth rises. You stop downplaying your dreams. You communicate with clarity. You begin to embody the person who can hold the life you want.


That’s what we’re stepping into today.

I’ve rebuilt my life more times than I can count — because life kept handing me crossroads that forced me to choose growth over comfort. I’ve changed careers, packed up my life and moved across the world to Australia… only to then walk away from a marriage that no longer aligned with who I was becoming, and start over again in Europe, completely reinventing my life from scratch.


Each time, I stepped into a new version of me — new jobs, new friendships, new homes, new countries, new dreams. Reinvention became my normal. And while it wasn’t always ideal, every chapter taught me to trust my voice, honour my needs, and create balance in a world that constantly tries to pull us in every direction.


I learned how to rebuild with intention instead of survival mode… how to rise from overwhelm into clarity… and how to create a lifestyle that actually supports who I am and who I'm becoming.


That’s why this work matters to me. Because I know what it feels like to lose your your sense of self — and I know the power of reclaiming it. If I can rebuild my life from the ground up, again and again, you can too. And I’m here to show you how to make it easier, more aligned, and far more empowering than you ever imagined.




Understanding the Throat Chakra, and Growing Into the Next-Level You


The Waning Gibbous Moon is a phase of integration, reflection, and release. It’s the moment after the Full Moon’s intensity has peaked, when we can step back and take stock of what has shifted, what has been achieved, and what lessons are ready to settle into our being. This is the perfect time to practice gratitude for the growth already happening in your life, to reflect on your experiences with clarity, and to consciously allow new opportunities to enter without resistance. It’s also a time to ask yourself: What version of me does my ideal life require, and how can I grow into that person?


Paired with this lunar energy is the Throat Chakra, located at the centre of your neck. It governs communication, self-expression, authenticity, and the ability to speak your truth with clarity and confidence. When this chakra is open and balanced, your voice aligns with your values, your intentions feel authentic, and you can release self-doubt or fear that blocks your growth.


By combining the reflective, receptive energy of the Waning Gibbous Moon with the expressive, truth-centred energy of the Throat Chakra, you create a powerful opportunity: to acknowledge your progress, speak your truth, express your desires, and step fully into the next version of yourself. This alignment helps you to manage overwhelm or stress and live with clarity, purpose, and balance.

Mini Meditation: Embracing Growth and Expression Under the Waning Gibbous Moon


Lets take some time now to do a mini meditation


Begin by finding a quiet, comfortable space. Sit or lie down, letting your body settle into the surface beneath you. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely. Hold for a moment, then slowly exhale through your mouth, releasing tension and inviting calm. Continue to breathe deeply, allowing your body to soften with each exhale.


Bring your awareness to the Waning Gibbous Moon energy. Feel the rhythm of this phase — the wave has peaked, and now it’s time to integrate, reflect, and receive. Imagine yourself standing in the glow of the moonlight, feeling a gentle, luminous energy surrounding you. This energy invites you to pause, to notice what you have achieved, and to express gratitude for your progress.


As you breathe in, silently say to yourself: “I am grateful for all that I have learned and become.” Feel this gratitude expand from your heart into your entire body, filling every cell with warmth and recognition for the growth you’ve experienced.


Now, bring your focus to the Throat Chakra, located at the center of your neck. Visualize a soft, calming blue light at this center, glowing steadily. This light represents your voice, your truth, and your capacity to express yourself clearly and authentically. With each inhale, imagine the light brightening and expanding; with each exhale, imagine it releasing any blocks, self-doubt, or fear of expressing yourself fully.


Reflect on your journey so far. Consider the life you are building, the growth you’ve achieved, and the lessons you’ve integrated. Ask yourself gently: What version of me does my ideal life require, and how can I grow into that person? Sit with this question, allowing insights or feelings to surface without judgment.


Now, imagine receiving new opportunities, doors opening effortlessly in front of you. Feel the alignment between your inner growth and these possibilities. Allow yourself to accept them fully, trusting that you are ready and capable of stepping into your next-level self. Breathe deeply, letting the Waning Gibbous energy of reflection and receiving merge with the clarity and expression of your Throat Chakra.


Take a few more deep breaths. Visualize your Throat Chakra glowing, your voice strong and authentic, your heart full of gratitude, and your mind clear and calm. Repeat silently: “I am aligned with my growth. I express my truth. I am open to all that life offers me.”


Gently bring your awareness back to your body and your surroundings. Wiggle your fingers and toes, stretch your arms if you like, and when you’re ready, open your eyes. Take a moment to carry this sense of reflection, gratitude, and clarity into the rest of your day, knowing you are grounded, balanced, and stepping fully into the next version of yourself.

Today choose one situation where you’ve been silencing yourself — a boundary, a need, a desire, a truth — and speak it clearly and lovingly today. Let your voice catch up with your growth.


Affirm With Me:

“I honour my truth.”

“My voice matters.”

“I receive my progress with gratitude.”

“I am thankful for the person I have become and the person I am still becoming.”


Ask Yourself & Journal: “How has my voice changed as I’ve grown? What truth within me is ready to be expressed in my next chapter?”


Mindfulness Ritual: This evening Sit quietly, place your hand on your throat, and imagine a soft blue glow expanding with each breath. With every inhale, feel your voice strengthen. With every exhale, feel tension melt away. Ask your intuition: “What truth do I need to honour next?”



Overcoming Limiting Beliefs: Receiving Your Next-Level Life


One of the biggest barriers to growth is the story we tell ourselves about who we are and what we’re capable of. When we reflect on our lives, it becomes clear how often we unconsciously limit ourselves — telling ourselves we’re not ready, not worthy, or not capable of embracing the life we desire.


Gratitude and reflection are powerful tools here. By acknowledging how far you’ve come, you reinforce the evidence that you can navigate change, overcome obstacles, and step into your next-level self. Receiving new opportunities requires you to release the old narratives that keep you small. Your Throat Chakra — the centre of authentic expression — is your ally. Speaking your truth, even quietly to yourself, begins to dissolve the limiting beliefs that hold you back.


Ask yourself: What belief about myself is no longer serving me? What story have I been repeating that keeps me from fully receiving the growth, opportunities, and alignment I desire? Replace it with the truth: You are capable. You are ready. You are worthy of the life you desire.


The more you allow yourself to receive, express, and trust in your growth, the more your energy opens to opportunities and the next version of yourself naturally emerges.
